Anyone actually watching the WB (sorry, CW) version of BMW Films’ “The Hire” over at SuzukiFilms.com?
It lacks:
At least the site features a comments section — inexplicably labeled “Blog” — full of remarks left by the ad agency responsible for this steaming pile of film. Or HD tape. Whatever.
I’m going to go watch the car chase in “Ronin” (shot by “The Hire’s” first director, John Frankenheimer) to cleanse my palate.
Later,
Fox
It lacks:
- Originality
- An interesting concept
- Good writing
- Good acting
- Any reason to pay attention to the SUV the campaign allegedly features
- Clive Owen
- Buck Owens

Well penned Fox. I’m sad to say I watched all three episodes just to see if they got better. They got shorter.
Hey gang! Let’s get a bunch of C-actors, some scotch tape, a car-cam and a wardrobe raided from Victoria Secret’s Hell’s Angels collection and make ourselves some webvermatizin’. You bring the Jim Beam. I’ll bring my trusty box full o’ wet-carpet dialog and my car-wipin’ rag.
Actually, sounds like a rip-roaring weekend in Tahoe in a Tahoe. With Ta-Hoes.
