Those crazy kids over at Salesgenie.com have given us another fine example of advertising fantastitude. It features an über-precocious little girl, superfluous puppies and a creepy dad. Why is he creepy? Because it’s the same guy from SG’s last ad – the one with the Ferrari-driving lothario.
So either the guy settled down and adopted a moppet, or he’s got a secret life on the side.
Unfortunately, desperate salesfolks are apparently responding to these ads in droves, so it looks like we’re stuck with them clogging up the Tivo.
I’m going to go look at some Holiday Inn Express ads to get the stank out of my eyes.

Creepy and deeply offensive. What kind of screwed up household is it that a child so young has any concept of a parent’s salary? “Plus he’s making a lot more money” is an outrageous line for a child to deliver. There’s another spot with a mother and son. He gets a bike. Good parenting all around.
I was working out when I first saw this commercial yesterday and I almost hurt myself when daddy came home with the puppies. It made me laugh so hard. Who is the target audience? Listen up lonely housewives, buy SalesGenie for your husbands and they’ll be home more, be rich, and oh yeah, I almost forgot, “Puppies!”.
