To promote its fuel cell vehicle, ingeniously dubbed the F-CELL, Mercedes-Benz decided to hide it in plain sight to show just how “invisible” the car is to the environment. Not counting the impact of manufacturing and other things involved unrelated to the nifty power train. So they draped the B-class cruiser in LEDs, fed them signals from some car-mounted DSLRs, and created a rather convincing impression of Zartan’s holographic cloaking devices from the 1980’s animated G.I. Joe series. But without the lasers cannons.
