When I saw this Verizon 4G LTE spot the other night during “Dancing with America’s Next Top Voice Idol,” I immediately flashed back to 1990 and a parody spot from “Saturday Night Live.” You could call the Verizon bit an homage, but the folks commenting on YouTube sure aren’t. And neither am I. After all, if you’re going to rip off a fake ad with Phil Hartman, go with the Blow – Colon Blow, that is.
